This column adopts a monthly thematic approach, focusing on specific populations and key issues by designating a core theme each month. Built upon the professional tool system developed by the International Arts Education & Therapy Development Academic Association (IAETDAA) , the column integrates the three major perspectives of art, psychology, and medicine to promote a systematic therapeutic practice that moves from "awareness" to "intervention" and then to "empowerment."
We firmly believe that art is not merely an object of aesthetic appreciation, but a healing resource that can actively engage with emotional regulation, cognitive development, relationship repair, and physiological health. The unique value of the association lies in transforming this belief into assessable, actionable, and replicable professional tools, bringing art therapy from concept to practice, and from professional circles into families and communities.

Family Therapy Month is IAETDAA's special May initiative. Four weeks, four themes – using art to see the "invisible structures" within families: power distribution, communication patterns, boundaries, and rituals. Free tools are provided each week. Therapist Version tools are available exclusively to members.

This toolkit is the Family Version, designed specifically for family interaction, helping you and your family members improve communication, understanding, and connection through art activities in daily life.
⚠️ Important Notice: This toolkit is intended for family interaction and self-exploration only. It is not a clinical tool. If your family is experiencing significant emotional distress or conflict, please seek professional mental health services.
📌 Weekly Update: A new weekly toolkit is released every Monday. Stay tuned.
