Ethics: The Foundation of Our Practice

At the International Arts Education & Therapy Development Academic Association, we firmly believe that rigorous, clear, and compassionate ethical practice is the cornerstone for the art therapy profession to earn trust, ensure safe and effective services, and achieve sustainable development. This Code of Professional Ethics and related resources establish the highest standards of conduct that all members, certified professionals, and partners must uphold. It defines our responsibilities to clients, the profession, society, and ourselves.
